HeartRay is operated by Crescent Mission LLC. Please read these Terms carefully before using the app.
Acceptance
By downloading or using HeartRay, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the app.
What HeartRay Does
HeartRay lets you share your heart rate, location, and health data with friends you explicitly connect with, and share a trip with the friends you choose. You control who sees your data and can remove friends, stop sharing, or end a trip at any time.
Your Account
You must be at least 13 to use HeartRay. If you are 13 through 17, a parent or legal guardian must approve your account and choose whether friends and messaging, health features, and location features are enabled. Guardian controls are protected by a guardian PIN. Do not misstate your age or guardian approval. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account per person.
Teen Safety
Teen features start disabled and remain subject to guardian choices. Teens should connect only with people they know, should never use HeartRay for emergencies, and should report or block unsafe behavior. HeartRay may restrict or remove a teen account if valid guardian approval is missing or withdrawn. HeartRay Plus is not offered to teen accounts.
Health Data
HeartRay reads health data from Apple Health, Health Connect, and connected wearables only to provide your history and the sharing features you choose. We do not sell your health data or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share another person's health or location data without their consent
- Use HeartRay to harass, stalk, or harm anyone
- Post or send hate speech, threats, sexual or exploitative content, graphic violence, scams, spam, or illegal content
- Impersonate another person or share private information without consent
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Reverse engineer or misuse our services
Use the separately labelled Report and Block actions in a friend's menu when a person, profile, status, or conversation violates these rules. Reports are reviewed for safety. We may remove content, restrict features, preserve evidence required for safety or legal obligations, or suspend accounts when appropriate.
Subscriptions
HeartRay Plus is a paid subscription managed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled through the applicable store. Manage or cancel using your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. Subscriptions are available only to adult accounts.
Disclaimers
HeartRay is not a medical device. Do not use it to make health decisions. Heart rate and health readings are for informational purposes only. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical advice. Trip arrival times are estimates. HeartRay is not a navigation or emergency service; don’t rely on it for safety-critical decisions.
Termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account at any time in Me → Delete account.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll notify users of material changes via the app.
